Don't know but have watched a lot of ducks land and others flare. Sometimes it's just them being nervous ducks.
Standing by a tree listening to a guy run down his list of "mightabeens" is painful after about the fifth time thru.

With experience you learn that a lot of the stuff we buy and agonize over buying is just bs.

Throw in one experimental bs decoymajigger that fails in some goofy way and its over, buhbye. Best to keep it simple.

Not all my decoys are flocked. I have early ducks that are dull. The flocked ones are for after Christmas mainly.

I wear glasses which means it's way harder to hide...being still, moving super slow if you have to, and moving your eyes, not head, is what matters.

I do hunt lake shores and know how to hide and kill ducks. Face paint don't make a difference if you set it up right.

If you feel like you have to paint up, don't let me stop u.

Don't worry. I might put on 2 layers just for you.
Sometimes the ducks are where the cover isn't. You can't always hide "right" witch seems to happen more often than not for me.
