Wader storage

Now is the time to make sure you've done it right.
Just throw em in the bed of the pickup until next November?
I don't think so.
Rinse them off and dry them on a boot dryer with extensions for waders.
Put them in a garbage bag. Seal tight. Then store in a roughneck storage tote.
They'll last longer.

I left mine in my boat too long last off-season and paid for it this year with wet balls.

My 20 year old rarely worn pair gave it up on my trip to Maine this year. Thankfully they were not needed as waders and just rain gear. They didn't make the return flight. Now I need to get a new pair for my next adventure.

I save old waders so I can wrap a thermos in neoprene.
Camos it and that huge thunk is muffled when the dog knocks it over.
I've learned a ton of stuff the hard way.
Wrapping the thermos is actually a good idea.
Most of the time my genius ideas don't work.
 Innovation can be painful
