That's the kind of stuff I'd think myself in my twenties has, or would have done. Before heading out this weekend one of my concerns was not being in the shape needed to do this work. I don't have the wind right now and I'm overweight which makes walking in the marsh, much less trying to rush to a net a bit of a chore. Back 35 years ago walking a flotant marsh with a semi-hard bottom 11/2 to 2 feet below kept me in shape, nor was I sitting in an office everyday.
When we rushed up to the net location on Saturday after it was fired I saw the net out in the middle of the marsh pond. I thought to myself, well, here we go, AirMed will be on the way soon. Actually that marsh had a descent bottom, but it still winded me.
