From hauls I've seen, looks like a lot of juvi's in the mix.

We have plans for a bunkie camp work day saturday but kind of wondering, given the conditions, if we might should give the specks a try Saturday morning before the other activities we have on tap. Clear, cold, good north wind.

Hear anything from that area on birds? We dont have any reports outside of my last visit but theres been a few fronts since then

I saw a video of one sitting in a mall parking lot in Alexandria. It was flushed by a shopper driving away.

They must be thick! So many, they can't even fit on the area fields. Poor things

Very nice John! Were y’all having to break traffic birds or were they already using the fields y’all were hunting?

Day 1 were using field. All other hunts high traffic

1 blind. 142 so far with a band. Would like to go home at 150. Fantastic trip

See if I can squeeze out 8 more. Gonna be tough, rode the same field hard

I have got to 90 percent of the calling so I am content

30 specks by 930. All shot decoying after being broke from good traffic

You have to be able to call unless already using field

Decoys to match what’s around as far as numbers. If not many, few decoys. If good amount lot of decoys

But you have to be able to call and adapt based off of reaction or lack of,,,sorry if offensive but it is what it is

None taken; we have a place to go and an open morning with what appears to be likely decent conditions so may as well give it a shot. No reports from the farm so no idea if they're using it yet, figuring on going with 6-9 FB decoys or so and just seeing how it goes. It's a lagniappe hunt anyway

“ will be lucky to shoot”

Don’t get me wrong, I know your talented. But after 4 days of banging did you really think you wouldn’t shoot on the 5th?
I like the humble cockiness, if you will. Haha!
Jokes aside ,that is a heck of a way to start off the season
