Heckuva solo hunt for sure!

Have been thinking about trying a cheap snow call rather than attempting barks on the speck call. Any recs on a cheapy that sounds halfway decent?

Look into that ya ya call from California—-this may be best choice because you just blow and it makes good sound

Thanks John! It was just one hunt, but we were all noting the attention we were getting from specks and snows alike on Saturday over our first go at a standing spread. Going to add a few more blues to it later this week but off the bat the difference was obvious, especially snows and bigger groups of specks. And they had NOT already been roosted there, yet at least.

Ask Stefan if he makes one that murmurs with ease...the only way to finish snows are with murmur over water. Barking scares them when reasonable distance. Barks are effective when they are far only
