for real? What good is an airplane if you never get to tell people your flying up to the harbor your boats at?

Saying "I sold the boat to get an airplane" sounds better than "I've got my kids this weekend"

Big fishing boats are a tough pill to swallow anyway, especially in MI

I enjoy the boat, but I have lots of friends with boats. The guy buying mine has been fishing with me for a couple years anyway-so being able to fish won't be an issue.

A 20 foot v bottom boat will give you the most options around here IMO. It will get you out into the great lakes but not overly huge to fish out of in the bigger rivers and inland lakes. But you really need 2-3 boats to be able to fish all the different types of lakes and rivers.

My boat is a poor man's boat, It's a old bass tracker that I gutted and I'm the 5th owner of the go devil with who knows how many hours on it. I call it the white trash titanic.

Sent from my phone.

This is our 16ft Spearing boat/light duty duck boat. I sandblasted the entire thing and have since put a late 80's 40hp E-rude on it. Its now pained olive drab and that blind is gone, plans for new blind in the works. This boat was dads boat and has seen some time on the water! I cant even imagine how many thousands of pounds of carp/suckers Jgun, Myself and friends have speared from this boat. She fits right in with the "poor" mans boat area.
AsJgun said in the other thread, we have a small boatyard in the parents backyard

My current poor man boat is one I bought for $60 off a guy. Been using it as a trailer to haul snow goose deeks around in.
