Paint that bitch grey and be done with it. Wish I woulda painted mine grey instead of tan. Grey seems to blend into everything with just a little brush.

I'm thinking I'm just gona paint it back green hit it with the sander a little to dull it out and then rub dirt and mud all over it.

Like a battleship color. Every grey boat I see along the shoreline blends in 10x better than the tan and green boats. I'm probably going to repaint mine next summer.

The thing that sucks so bad is that it was already such an old faded greenish grey color. Stupid me. Should never touched it.

It's here... Let the games begin... Maybe this weekend. Confidence level as far as pulling this off is maybe 65%. At least it's 17 oz mat. So should be easy to lay.

I like it. Just break up the dark spots a little more with green and lighter grey.

For where I hunt I think it looks about perfect. That's what I'm going to paint mine like next summer.

I like a dark camo. Especially on a bright sunshine day. Get in a shadow with cover behind you and you can disappear!

I'm definitely going to go back and darken it up, and fade the edges at the recommendation of a friend. Although he's more artistic than I am so I might have him help me finish this out. We did a stencil job on his rig that turned out awesome.

flint go to harbor freight and buy a cheap hvlp spray gun, mix flat white and black rustoleum with other colors of rustoleum to get the shades closer.

Looks like what I'm probly gonna have to do. Got plenty of air at my shop at work to push it. I really just don't know if i like the pattern I did. I like parts but not as a whole. Not really going for a diver boat paint job but more along the lines of a bigger pattern that breaks up at a greater distance. Instead of a stencil that turns into a single color blob at 50 yds.

I'll just keep layering it on and then start scuffing to give it a nice multi layered pattern

if you do get my number from Olly and I'll give you some advice on thinning, adjusting the gun and what not so you can shorten the learning curve

Gona have to make some more of the camo netting like I did before so that I have enough to cover the whole boat. Then I'll just carry a machete with me and chop branches to jam into the netting once at the spot. Thing about hunting public land around here is that you have PLENTY of time to set up because you have to get out there so damn early.

Gotcha. Where I'm usually I I don't have much to cut down. And other than opening day, there are plenty of places to hunt out here so I just give myself enough time to setup with a few min to spare.
