Thanks buddy. I put a big dent in the project today. Really just got a few things to tidy up and she's gonna be complete. Pretty damn proud of myself considering this.

Very cool flint. But why bed liner and mats?

Bought the mats kinda as an impulse buy. Had to seal in that glass I paid all that money for and spent all that time doing. I planned on some type of rubberized coating from the get go. I see it this way. If the 40 bucks worth of mats don't work out then there herc under it.

Gotcha, didn't realize you have to seal glass. Never messed with it.

Not sure who all saw the page where I bought the mats. They are EVA foam and weigh pretty much nothing. These aren't heavy rubber stall mats.

Idk if you have to seal it or not hahahha. But I sure as hell did. I wanted to make a floor that'll last.

You won't regret the mats. At our local rural king, they have some that are camo. First I have seen. They called theme camp mats?

Yeah I found out about that after I bought these. Apparently they sell them at academy sports too.

I think you should make the sides taller so you can stand up on a milk crate and still be under the back of the blind.

That would be handy. Although i do wish the blind was about 10 inches taller.

How much sticks out when you are sitting normal?

I've got an EMT bender. Makes some fold up sides. Would be super easy.

That's kinda been what I've been thinking. Just making some rails that go and then draping my netting over the sides. Or some actual fold up sides with Bimini hardware.

That's a lot to try and duck down to hide. I'd do the EMT thing. Make it fold up to about your neck, then when you brush it have some sticking up that covers your face but can still see through. Then fold down for transport.

Thing is... Who sits straight up on a milk crate? It's enough cover when slouching

That's what I meant by normal...how you would sit when hunting. If it covers you then, then you're set.

Where did you buy them from?

Tractor supply but several other places carry them.
They're called best step anti fatigue mats.

And they're 20$ for a 4x8 sheet.

Test run was a success. I took the boat out this morning early to do a little scouting. Saw a few birds.
Put the boat through a little hell. Lots of full throttle pounding through chop and wake from other boats. Looks like everything held up and I didn't hear any cracking. This boat really hauls ass! Can't wait to see what she does with a good prop.
The lake was down super low. Rocks and sand bars sticking out in the middle of the lake where I've never seen them before. I'm bout to go over to the GON forum and post up a warning. Also gonna tell them that I didn't see a single bird there.
