Here's my 16ft Bass Tracker, it is setup a lot different then my orginal re-fit. Now I am running a 27hp Go-Devil and I've added float pods to the rear.
Last year I ran a pop up style blind but this year I have something totally different in mind, I will be starting a build tread on that soon.

We ran a boat very similar this past season. Not mine but my cousins.

Perhaps an auxillary fuel tank if you know what i mean....
I would not have been very happy if we woulda ran out of gas down river from the boat ramp with those leaky waders i was wearing last time i went out with you. bc we came pretty close buddy.
however i will add that it was my idea to see if we could make it to flat shoals and back.

I took her out 2 weekends ago and ran out of gas as I was hitting the dock. Luckly I was up stream though and would have just floated down if I had run out.

Depends on the day...one of the following.

2072 Sea Ark with a 90 Yamaha
20ft Lund Alaskan with a 90 Yamaha
25 Ft Duckwater with a 250 ETec
Lake Bonneville big brother
8ft Aqua Pod
13.5ft square stern canoe

(the Lund and the Duckwater are my buddies boats, depending on where & how many shooters we have, we will run at least 2 and sometimes all 3 of the big boats)

He likes it and it moves that DW at 45+ in anything less than 2' chop. It is thirsty though...IMO, for the money I'd rather have a 4 stroke...more efficient, less smoke/stink, and way quieter and smoother.

16 foot john with a 25 horse merc on the back. Its my buddies boat, but it seems like I use it more than he does. Sometime this summer, its getting camo'd up. We also have a pontoon blind but its still under renovations and I don't have a pic of it.

I haven't had it in the water yet.

Boat dimensions are 120''X65''

Weight is 150# spot on. I overbuilt it WAY too much. I can walk across the top of it. I don't need her to be that stout. When I build another, I have drawn some plans that should keep the boat under 80#.

Thanks for the compliments on the paint. I had my girlfriend cut lines in cardboard to use as a stencil. I airbrushed a naked mermaid on the front of her but I don't think I like it so I will probably be repainting it.

We hit this one at 130am 1 hour after slack high. We got enough water to move again by noon.

Lots of time and nothing to do since it was September goose season and geese don't eat sand. Or if they do, they don't eat sand with a boat parked on top of it.

The water is so close, yet so far away. Tide is coming in now.

Closer.

don't know how to get rattle can paint to stick to smooth plastic. My friend painted his and it was like painting pvc pipe. looked good until something touched it. I have a giant gunny sack I put over it. I will probably try and paint it this year though.

Personally, I think it blends in pretty good.

I don't see a black motor sticking out. The stern is to the left of the photo.

You just have to scuff it up. It's not worth it to me. It can be covered rather than painted.

I tried with a scotch bright pad. didn't really do much. I'm not too worried about keeping her 'new' looking as I built the blind too narrow and it has some gouges in the cowling anyway from trimming it all the way up.

120grit sandpaper and flat oil based brush on paint for base coat. after that, spray away
