I am thinking that the 10' plus pods (similar to the Hybrid NL) would be good for me, but the NL doesn't look like it has enough 'rocker' height.
The shelves are a great idea, and you can never go wrong with a cup holder.
I will also add a couple waterproof hatches. They are pretty easy to make and a dry cell phone can be handy.
All I did to get my rocker was to attach the straight side of the cutoffs to the bottom instead of the curved, cut sides. Not very scientific, but it worked well.
I also built a scale model mock-up out of manila folders, which was a very big help. I found that the folder material acted almost exactly like the luaun, when it comes to bending. Gave me an excellent idea of how I needed to do it to get the right angles, and saved me some time and money. Even if you have the plans, I'd recommend this.
