Make sure you post a step by step pictorial as the build progresses. That way we can give you tips and advice that make you feel good about your work every step of the way.

We would love to give some advice to you.

Might be just me, but you seem kind of bitter about something.

That is an excellent looking job. Well done and thanks for sharing.
I don't know if you are still active here on this forum but, may i ask what type of paint you used and if it is still holding up?

From my personal experience, if anybody tells you you have to use epoxy resin, I would be inclined to say they're full of crap.

He filed a Hurt Feelings Report when he posted the building of his boat blind, then after everyone said they were sorry his feelers were hurt, he still didn't post a picture of the boat blind in it's final form.........Must have given it to the neighborhood kids to use for a lemonade stand or something.

Some folks asked about the stability. I have this video, and while it isn't the greatest, it's all I've got. You would really have to do some dumb shit to accidentally tip it over. These things are amazingly stable. About the only thing I did which would have swamped it was when I tried to stand on the back deck- she was going under if I didn't get off the thing quick. But like I said- it'd take some pretty large amount of stupid to accidentally tip yourself out. I'm 6', 200 for scale.

Probably about 60 pounds. It's not heavy, but it is awkward.

Glad I found this. Thanks for sharing. After watching the video and seeing the stability, that just made my mind up to build one of these. I already have the plans, now to get it going and ready for next season.

Welcome aboard. You'll enjoy the build and it gets even better the first times you go out in it and then the first birds you drop from it. Worth the time and effort.
My wife has been telling me I need to build another, yes that's right she is telling me I need to build another one. I have a good one.
