Im going to be painting my boat and blind (tin). Im going to lowes or HD and plan to buy a the cheapest paint gun and a few gallons of rustoleam primer. Hopefully they have a matte grey. I plan to do two coats and spray paint whatever other color on there. Does anyone see any full metal fails in my future?

the boat isn't it has the factory paint. The tin seems raw. One side is dull and the other is shiny.

Beef you've seen my boats, I take a quart of flat green camo paint and then mix rustoleum flat white and flat black to get the shades I want. Rustoleum paint is mean

I used to be a paint snob and only use petit or interlux, but after having to pay retail I became a believer in the cheaper stuff

Sweet, looking forward to this. I really have no idea what im doing, but just want to try shit like this. The boat was on its way to the scrape yard, all the roofing was left on property by previous owner and Ive used all the galvanized nuts and bolts from previous blinds. Goal is it have it as light as possible. Love the idea of having hardly nothing into a boat so I dont have to baby.

So what do you see, besides issues with lightning and rogue waves, being a major issue here jehler. Any faulty issues brewing or what?

Two things beef, when you fall over you're going to get impaled on a stake or decapitated by sheet metal, other than that it's solid

Like a Wagner, yes, but they spray a lot of paint, made for spraying houses and why not where you back brush. It will work but you'll use more paint and have runs
