Another blind

I'll add to the boat blinds with the copy I'm found of Tripod's blind, mud buddy something or another contraption. Mine surely won't be as cleanly done but should function fine. Here is the bare bones start and I will add any snags I come across to help the next to try.

Make sure to set it up so that tour "shooting lane" is as narrow as you feel comfortable with. I'll measure mine up real quick.

Blind is 43" tall off the boat floor and the shooting lane is 24" wide. I think 20"-22" could still be comfortable if you're not hunting any fat guys out of the boat.

Shit, I'm thinking I can run it about 8.5" for me.

Just enough to stick the barrel out.

Lookin good!!
I am a firm believer in the "black hole" that flares ducks. When the ducks pass overhead and look down inside the boat through the shooting hole. I put a top and a drop door on the shooting hole to completely cover the boat.
I left just enough gap to see out (about 5"), and I also cut windows so I can see out the back without sticking my head out.

Make sure you cut those bolts off, and put pipe insolation over it. They rip stuff...first had experience. :-)

Hey, if you need any of the black netting to stretch tite from your top rail down to your gunnel (keeps the grass from sagging back into the blind) we have lots of it. $60 for more than enough to do that entire blind.

We also have some great headcovers that would attach to that top rail as well if you are interested. Like Nuff said, that black hole is gonna need coverin!
