Looks like hydroturf.

Hydroturf must be some tough shit if it's the structure for the deck!

I would imagine it's just an aluminum front deck that is on most boats.

What did you use to keep your poles up, I think I see ratchet straps?
Thanks,

Buckles: push to close, squeeze to release, just like on a backpack. The buckles of course are adjustable on the straps. The straps are attached to the gunnels. Got the plan from Tripod (three leg lab). Got a friend with a big sewing machine to stich loops where the conduit goes through the straps.

Actually it is harder to describe than it was to build.

I bought a package of 4 tie down straps for $9.97 and cut the "S" hooks off the long end and threw the short end away. Burn the cut ends so they won't fray and cut a couple of 6" pieces off the end of each strap to sew back on to make the loops that the frame goes through.

Ron's right, its kind of difficult to describe but a super simple design. I cant claim the design as my own though, I bought the blind as a kit. I have a thread somewhere with pics showing it w/o the blind material.
