He may be able to get you the hookup too.

The handle part is easy, it's the throttle and controls is a pain.
He didn't do shit for me ;)

That's the part I don't know about. I paid $600 for the motor, so I don't want to spend a shit ton on this. I'll probably just suck it up and deal with the counsel.

You shoulda seen how I had it spelled before autocorrect took over. Took me 2 tries before autocorrect could recognize it as a word.

Will that work? Says 1990 and newer 20-30hp. If it will, that's sweet. $125 ain't too bad.

im guessing you will probably have to drill some holes or otherwise modify it to hook the shift linkage up, that's the only thing I can think of that would be different

Just keep your throttle and mount it near the back and then rig up something to use as a tiller. I saw a boat for sale on Craigslist like that. Or like I said get a stick steer on it.

That's not a bad idea. I'm not a huge fan of stick steer so I'm trying to avoid that. I'm still trying to figure out if Jehler is screwing with me or not. If it's only $125 to get it hooked up, I'm all for that.

yep, the only place you may have issues is where the shift linkage goes through the cowling, not sure when they went from the shifter on the side to the shifter in the front

The shifter and throttle both hook up right next to each other on the starboard side of the motor. I got the # off the motor and it turns out its a '92.
