Are you hunting sea/diver or puddle ducks?

It's about 50/50. Plus geese.

Put a roof on it. That can fold up and down. If puddlers or geese start working, flip it up. Divers you don't really even need a blind...at least around here.

Steve, Welcome to WFF, where new guys are treated with respect and admiration. Check with TomKat about building boat blinds, he might even sell you the plans and video.

Ron E you are starting to grow on me. If I hit the powerball I will drag the boat down to TX and make a film of us killing sprigs for my mexican buddy in Maryland. The famous Rodent Stalker.

Hey Assateague why dont u name your boat the Rodent Stalker?

Puddle ducks and geese are likely to come in from up high, so I would definitely put a roof on there.
