For reason such as weight, heat, visibility, drivability etc. what do you all use (and what works for you or what would you change) and what would you suggest for tiller steer surface drive on something like and 1860 with hunt deck? Soft/collapsible or hard blind?

I've used a homemade collapsable blind the past 2 years. It worked great and I love it. But it was tough to keep a good brush job on. I hunt in the open water with my boat on occasion so I need the boat to be fully brushed with cedar.
I think for next year I'm going to make a hybrid blind. Have hard sides that go up about 2' above the gunnels then make a fold out top for it.
Homemade with EMT conduit is the way to go if you don't mind a project and want to save some money.
