Duck boats and duck boat blinds!

new paint job in mind...

Postby aunt betty » Thu Feb 04, 2016 12:41 pm

Saw a duck boat two seasons ago that was camoed in a very unique way.
Told the guy I was stealing his idea. He said fine and laughed.

The boat was camoed with one stencil. A cut-out of a duck in flight. Looked really cool in flat camo colors.
Figure I can get pics of pintails or something to use to make the stencil. Call it the assacraft. :D

I don't know many back grounds that look like that!
Got to love the mud.

Maynard Reese is an artist. I have one of his Speckled trout prints that caught my eye in the late 70's, beautiful work!

The old house? Did you have to move away from the power plant?

No, there is a second home. Parents house that they simply walked away from in around 1996. It's been sitting there untouched for 20 years. 2 acre yard, nice mature trees in the city...they nuts...it made me nuts. That's the story and I'm sticking with it.
