Just buy the MAC Exhaust and be done with it, way quieter than the original and built to last Image

What size boat is that 12 horse on?
You got me to look at the copperhead site and according to them 12 horse ain't enough for my 1640 river jon.

The 23 horse model...They're a bit heavy and I'd have to put battery and gas tank up front. $4500 motor on a $400 jon boat don't seem right to me.
Going 6-8 mph faster does appeal to me tho.
20 mph seems pretty slow. That's what I get with my raised up 15 horse.
Can go thru fairly shallow water once I jacked up the engine as far as I could. Gained some speed too. The short transom even with short shaft motor is a few inches too short.

I'm hobbit size and will hunt in not less than a 1448mv.
Twelve foot boat? You kidding? You'd die where I go.
Nuclear power plant cooling lakes are purposely aligned with the prevailing winds and are elevated to catch it.
Some have 16-foot with 60 inch wide limit. (no less)

Ask State Farm (jake) about the day my bilge pump was stuck with a stick.
