Prodrive trim issues

The trim and electric reverse would work one way only. I swapped the wires on the solenoid and it would work the other way. I changed the solenoid and it worked at first and then started doing the same thing. Sometimes it would stay energized and I would have to turn off the master switch to reset it. I can’t find much help with searches so I am asking my duck hunting freinds.

Sorry to interrupt this traffic jam of a thread.
I waited a while for the experts and they're busy chasing tail.
Clyde I seem to recall a video on YouTube and they had a relay problem.
I don't know about prodrives but watched a video about guys rigging the relay to work just for the day.
Your problem sounds very similar so I guess I'd learn about relay switches and testing them
