Yep.
I saw them headed up the hill behind the house and got out ahead of them, to one of the upper pastures. She was about 40 yards away and didn't even know I was there. My son was videoing the whole thing but, I was between him and her when I shot so he didn't get the shot on camera...exactly. Dropped like a stockyard cattle.

Have shot quite a few deer, nave no pics, all were does to fill the freezer. 95% of my hunting is birds, not many big game pics.

Found this pic of a deer I got from my game camera a few years ago. Haven't deer hunted since this pic was taken, maybe this is the year.

He is a big boy, have seen him a few times while turkey hunting and fishing on this property, my dad has a few of his sheds. He is well over 250 lbs, prob in the 280 range. Will be deer hunting this year, think I am gonna focus on mule deer though.
