Sweet. That one is on my bucket list. How long do you have to send in for to get it?

Speedgoat and elk is better than buffalo, but I thought the buffalo I had was better than beef or deer.

Every goat I've had was awesome, every buffalo I've had was awesome but I have had some elk that was not to par. Don't get me wrong elk is usually gd but I've had some cows that were tough and a little strong.

 You and your Dad have shot more elk than me and I am only going on what I have had so I believe you. The few elk I have eaten were shot and butchered quickly and they didn't run far.

I've eaten elk from the nighbor's elk farm (alfalfa and grain), Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico.

It was all good.

I've never eaten the goat but I heard if you don't skin those bastards lickety-split they get a little sour.

I shoot deer all the time when it's in the 90s, all summer long. I've never noticed a difference. But that's deer.

1st of all, congrats on the tag for your wife. Where will she be hunting? Buffalo is very good, no goat though IMO. And yes Jim, they all are sub par compared to my meat!

I love to eat our river bottom blacktails. But the handful of times I have had buffalo it was amazing. I would love to shoot one every year.

I have refrained from cluttering this up with the Guy on a Buffalo video for a while now. Don't know how much longer I can make it. Every time I see the title, the "Guy on a Buffalo" song goes through my head.
