Just trumped all deer talk.

If he brings some to the WCH, he will trump us all. I have only had moose a few times, but it was the best meat I have ever had.

Those were 05 and 12, Friend shot a little baby this year and I will see if I can get a few roasts for us to make steaks for us all. No promises, though.

Well, get out and poach us one dammit

Had Momma and her baby in my yard setting off my motion alarm about an hour ago. I will tell you guys the story at the WCH about our 12 year moose camp disintegrating. Cliff notes: My friend's family imploded about nothing and they are in a big fight. Absolutely nuts.

Baby moose? Thats probably some of the finest 250 pounds you'd ever drag over to the shop (in a hurry).

That's because the seal veal has been beaten until it is extremely tender.

I can get on board with that, the only one that has ever bothered me is the statement mentioned above.

I agree. Always pisses me off in those hunting shows where it's "the last day". If you wouldn't shoot it on the first day, you shouldn't shoot it on the last.

I like to think if I ever do get into deer hunting that I would operate on the Holy Shit Principle. As in, if I see a deer walk in range and my first reaction is "Holy Shit", then that deer is worthy of shooting. Wouldn't necessarily have to be a wall-hanger, just something that impressed me to begin with.
i think if the size of a deers antlers is the reason your hunting you should take some time and come to terms with the size of your penis

Nice try. Like I said, to each his own. If you kill every deer you see because you hate them and want them all dead, that's fine by me. Me personally, I'd do it to fill the freezer and a doe does that just fine. If I'm going to shoot a buck, that's when the above concept comes into play for me. But by all means, if you'd like to keep thinking about the size of my penis, who am I to judge?

We skin them and take the quarters, backstrap, loin, and neck/rib meat. Think we get about 250 or more depending on the size of course.
