Antelope bites the dust

Postby quackhead » Sat Oct 12, 2013 10:36 pm

Took out the babysitters son and my wife today. The boy got his first antelope. Dropped her where she stood. Unfortunately we never found the buck my wife was looking for. The biggest one we saw might have been pushing 15". We also saw 3 moose. It's always weird seeing moose in the desert.

I wasn't there. My son took him again.
I hope to be there and help him pack out his first elk though. I'll be headed over for 2 weeks of elk hunting in about a week.

Very nice. Antelope is one of my favorite wild game meats, really tasty.
