Scent Killer Gold

Postby capt1972 » Sat Nov 09, 2013 8:19 am

I applied Scent Killer Gold to all my hunting clothes before my recent trip to NY state. The first night in the stand I noticed how nice it was not to be sitting there wet from other sprays. That night I had two bucks fighting over a doe at 40 yards downwind of me. They had no idea I was there until it was too late! The bucks never provided me with a good shot as it was Archery season but the doe dressed at 130 pounds.

I stopped using any sort of scent killer/blocker/cover scent about 6 years ago. I've noticed not one single bit of difference. Hell, I occasionally smoke a cigarette in the stand, and regularly piss out of it.

That's because deer don't give a shit.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.
