Does he just guide for bear? Or does he do a little bit of everything?

Either way, pretty cool. I'd like to hunt dall and stone sheep one of these days up there. That would be cool.

Love mountain hunting. I wish I hadn't been so stupid 3 years ago when I pulled a billy goat tag up by Kalispell. Never took the chance to take a week off to go hunting for one. I regret it ever since. I'm still waiting for 4 more years before I can apply again.

No kidding. Plus the district I drew it in is known for BC trophies for goats. High hopes for 2020.

What are the odds of drawing?

What are the odds of drawing?

Higher than the ones for sheep. But in that district, only 5 tags. I'd say a good 1,500 people put in for it.

Don't fuck that one up again, just go when you draw.

Lesson learned. Now if I had drawn a sheep tag and somehow fucked that up, there would have been a nuclear explosion by now. Most districts, there's only 2 tags per district. And when you have 20,000 people just in state putting in for it plus out of state, it's a highly prized tag.

They are fun to hunt. Get a Kodiak permit and you will have memories to last a lifetime. Beautiful country and seeing these in the wild is really awesome.

They have super powers in their nose, they sense anything human and they run for miles straight up cliffs you wouldn't believe. Some of them are amazing huge, like a Volkswagen big. It's pretty neat
