Going out tomorrow after deer. Goose out over the plond in the morning while the kiddos are sleeping, then deer as soon as Pop Pop gets here to pick them up Hopefully stick one in the evening.

No dice. Couldn't even get through the cornfield to the woods, because the morning glories were too thick. I may have been able to fight my way through eventually, but there's now way I was going to risk shooting a deer and having to drag it back through that tangled mess of hell. Have to wait a couple weeks until the corn's cut, or try public land. We'll see.
