we've had several bears this year. one of the guys shot one but never found it. this afternoon I passed on one that would have been easy. I was coming in to bait and it was laying in front of the barrel. when it left it came within 30yrds.

I wouldn't think bear skins would be very good this time of year but they are probably starting to put on some fat.

There is still snow on the ground. Also, of they're not rubbed then they are great skins. Spring skins are better than fall skins
