Dove season 2022

When: Saturday morning 9-3-22
What: dove hunt (opening morning)
Where: uncut hayfield in Jarreau, LA
Weather: 75 degrees, partly cloudy and no wind
Weapon: 12 gauge Browning Silver, light modified with #7.5 lead
What happened: Not much so far, I’ve seen 8 doves all outta range.
Lots of shooting around 6:30am in the cut soybean fields to my west but it has pretty much nonexistent now.
I may hang out another 1/2 hour then go home and watch game day. It did feel good to load a shotgun and sit
outdoors for awhile. Hope everyone else out today is doing better.
