Have not been out a lot looking around but what I have seen and what I have also heard from others potholes are looking great. We are starting to lose water after the frost broke. But here’s the forecast. Good for potholes won’t be good for the farmers getting into the fields.

Really been enjoying your insight from up that way, glad to hear you're getting some relief, and we look forward to upcoming posts about waterfowl-related things, including the breeding grounds.....and/or your predator mitigation efforts :D

We just had a little thunderstorm go through that kind of stalled over the area. Guessing we got close to a quarter if not a half inch just from that. Bismarck area received a bunch of hail.

Other than any potential for damaging flooding, bring it on ! Drifting north into prairie Canada wouldn't be a terrible outcome either.

The system has stalled out over us and southern Canada. We have received over 2 inches of rain and it’s still falling. Some places are well over 4 inches.

That red in southern Canada is for “Rainfall Warning”

A meteorologist is about as reliable as a lying assed duck hunter. We had flood warnings....about 0.75" fell.

Rain is when semo and ne Arkansas get 6 inches overnight. Water every fucking where.

What your simple mind does not take into account is all the snow that just melted so the ground is saturated so a half inch of rain here right now is like 6 inches somewhere else.

Once again if you don’t have anything to offer besides your wacky ass delusional opinions please do not post on my threads.

Is there any way to give the log owner the ability to delete posts? I, like this post, sometimes post off topic in someone's thread.

The ability to go back and do a little house keeping would be nice. I sometimes like the off topic discussion in my threads, but would go back and clean them out if I could. Just like this post should be cleaned out after the tangential discussion concludes.

I don’t mind if things get a little off topic on my log. It’s just the wacky BS and the constant pooh-poohing from the guy that hunted AR once or twice. I like to consider myself a pretty easy going guy but when you ask the same person to stop hijacking and he takes that as a challenge to hijack even more it becomes personal. Respecting one’s wishes goes a long way!!

I agree and the Canadians seem to go overboard with the warnings but the ground is saturated so it doesn’t take much right now. Went to a church closer to the border last night and there is plenty of water in the fields. Guessing we probably lost some goose eggs to flooding.

Ok PorkChop. Take your newly-found moderator powers for a spin in this forum. If it works well, I'll extend those powers to others in their respective logs.

Let's see how it goes; would be a big fan of such abilities within our own logs. Thanks for being responsive and apparently proactive.

Still a great amount of sheet water out in the fields. Farmers have been forced to go around it which is good for us bad for them. Lots of birds sexing it up. More rain in the forecast

Absolutely wonderful news (for us). Keep it coming PC! Hopefully that will be good news for the pintails, as I understand they’re most susceptible to being displaced by a plow.

I’m sure going to hate these updates during a drought year, but am really enjoying reading them during this wet spring/early summer.
