I need one of those. My Ellie is 15 this year and getting frail. I will take her out this year just for the boat ride and very easy retrieves. I have my feelers out for a pup.

Yes he is doing just fine, only lasted about 24 hours...
We went in for our yearly shots last week at the vet and asked him about the rattlesnake vaccine that Moe has had... The vet said that the vaccine works really well on copperhead bites, not so much with cottonmouth but he thought it would help some...

I used to put towels under the doors at home, cover each window with old school posters cut to fit and taped to keep the sun from shining in, cover the windows in the double garage, and at night it looked like nobody was home. Beer lasted longer, but I missed having competition throwing darts. Ended up throwing stars and knives at the wood wall. Handkerchief was worn hanging behind covering my neck area, which would be soaked in water and mostly wrung dry as it dried. Seek shade 10 or 15 minutes every hour drinking sweetened iced tea or whatever. Sunglasses to protect the eyes.

Don't remember it being this hot, though, here; or, this dry. Having problems world wide. Panama canal is above sea level.

Most of the Dart games around here, are in Fort Smith, Ar... I live in a dry county, but on Tuesday,Thursday or the weekend you can find a Domino game if a fellers interested...

Thanks! I have enjoyed your posts a lot. I used to be a normal stopover for several friends on Sundays, as we couldn't buy alcohol on Sundays. My deceased best ever duck hunting partner for over 30 years, used to not leave until it was all gone. He didn't throw darts much, but rather enjoyed the stars and knives. He and I used to share old hunting stories. Most of them were about us.
Still praying for rain and no fires for all involved!

I have a few young pecan trees in the yard, and have my best crop of pecans to date... While Prairie grouse hunting the squirrels cleaned out two of my pecan trees in the backyard...

Moe is a busy boy and over the last couple years he keeps pretty busy treeing squirrels... So I haven't killed any in a while because he enjoys treeing them... But that has ended, I'm on the warpath!!!

Last Wednesday morning I realized there was wet carpet in my closet that backed up to the bathroom... After some investigation realized that the 34-year-old tub was leaking... Dried everything out Thursday and Friday, and Friday afternoon started the process of replacing everything in the tub area of the bathroom... I'm tired and grumpy but should have it in good shape tomorrow afternoon to take a shower...
