Shit, I did now. Busy tomorrow? I've gotta work, but that will only consist of sitting on my ass doing some Chem warfare refreshers.

What?

Yes, even with the luxurious accomodations the AF provides me with at the Embassy Suites, we have to share a room for drill weekends.

That's shitty. You at least have a suite, so one of you can sleep on the couch?

King size bed to share!

Come on AT. They repealed DADT but they still hate fags.

TK, these are the bullets which shot the best, by far, from my inline. Screw that ballistic point business, I could never get them to pattern near as well through mine, but that may a rifle-specific deal.

UPDATE

I actually shot a couple of shots this weekend. I cleaned the piss out of it when I was done.

Accuracy was not good. But Its early, I hope to shoot some more soon. Glad I listened to AT and Eric and got a modern inline and use the pellets. I am using powerbelt bullets.

Next will be a scope mount, and either a Ghost ring system or mount a tasco 3 x 9 I have laying around.

Did you clean after every shot? You need to if you want perfect groups.

I'm going to make a recommendation, but it's certainly up to you.

My TC didn't shoot worth a darn with ballistic tip anything- powerbelts, TC, whatever. When I switched to the Hornady 300gr sabot (you have to put them in the sabot yourself) with a hollow point, my accuracy went up dramatically. It's a .45 caliber bullet, in a 50 cal sabot, but you get the full 300 grains, with a little more speed. They are very bad ass, and pretty easy on the wallet as well.

I bought a one piece base for a scope and a breech plug. I will mount a tasco scope I have laying around and try a few more powerbelts. But I am not going to stick with them If I dont see improvement.

Trust me on this- it's worth the money to get some of those Hornady's, regardless of how many powerbelts you have laying around. Make sure they are the ones I said, and NOT a ballistic tipped sabot.

I am listening to you. I dont intend on spending a lot of time with this gun, it is a tool to deprive my neighbors friend of the best deer before archery begins.

I will try my powerbelts one more time with a scope to make sure they are the problem and then E Bay them off to la la land.

My dad gets good groups with powerbelts, I believe they are 195 gn and 3 pyrodex pellets.

Does he have a TC? For some reason, I know 4 people (including me) who have or had TCs, and the powerbelts just would not fly well. But I have another friend with a CVA who swears by the things.

Never shot powerbelts. I have never shot the 300 hornadys either. Only 200 and 250 and they are about 3" groups at 100.
