From what I can remember, there is not a shot over 300 yards in the entire state of Maryland.

If you are going to shoot 300 rounds in a dog town, you would prefer the 6MM....

If I was taking long shots at dog town, I would want a 6.5 MM Creedmoor.

My whole family shoots 7mm-08. Great deer and antelope caliber. My dad had shot dozens of elk with it too. It's all about bullet placement.

No- it was a 300 acre field, I believe. I have a 550 yard shot off my back porch, if the deer would ever cooperate. And I believe the holdover on my .35 would be about 64 feet.
