Popping caps before it gets hot-

Popping caps before it gets hot-

Postby Tomkat » Sun Jul 29, 2012 11:54 am

I was able to get to my range and run a few dozen rounds thru my Winchester Model 62 today. Its always fun to burn some powder, and this heat is killing my range time....but I did get a little shooting in today.

Well, its 100 as I write this...so yeah, sort of.

It was only 80 when I was shooting this morning. I am ready for fall weather.

Are you just shooting for fun? Seems like if you're sighting in/working up new loads, the 80 degree temperature swing might screw it up.

Looks like fun man. Its been a while since we've just gone out and spent some time shooting targets. We used to do it all the time but seems life gets in the way every time. I love those old Winchester .22's. I have an old Model 63, and its a sweet shooting little gun.
