A unusual Retrieve

Postby Legband » Fri Feb 13, 2015 11:04 pm

Took a young hunter out today it's his first year.
He winged a Chucker and it flew off pretty strong.
He was very discouraged.
No worries I told him Livy will get it , she has no quit in her.
But I didn't figure this.
She's such a show off.

That's a great pic Legband ! For a pointing dog ?

My Lab being the retriever she is , has tried to climb for birds hung-up in trees , it's always fun to see her bouncing on
her back-legs like a kangaroo as she sees or smells a bird that's hung-up there . It sure makes a fella proud to know your
dog has a nose that , if they can smell it , they will find it !
