Doves

Postby PorkChop » Wed Jun 07, 2023 9:47 am

This morning I brought Kylo out so he could do his duty. AsI stood there my brain kicked in and I noticed I have never heard the mourning doves make so much noise. It sounded like the trees were full of them. We usually have one that nests in one of our trees by our driveway but I’ve yet to see her. Still early though. Spotted some young ones on the road yesterday so guessing there will be at least a second nesting. Starting to see them on the powerlines as well in decent groups.

Looking forward to Sep 1st

Sounds like all feathered creatures in your area are having a good spring!
