And everyone hates you for it. You should buy the Westinghouse with the money you made off the other calls.

I couldn't believe that someone would pay that much for the collection and it was cash too.

One word WESTINGHOUSE. The Westinghouse micarta calls are the holy grail of RNT calls as far as most collectors are concerned. It has the potential to sell for over 2 Grand if the right people are watching it.

Oh, I wouldn't know. I only value things if they're functional, I also don't collect anything for that reason.

it is functional, the value is it is a time piece, to someone older it may take them back, if your a little nostalgic and have the extra few bucks its a neat thing to have. really no more money than a few nights at the bar, i know you drink, and the only real value to a drunk is a hangover, and that's not a great investment ;) Its not my cup of tea but i do have a collection of very old powders and primers in the re-load room, no practical use for it but cool to me

We should start a thread about how much some cheap call is worth a lot of money. That's the reason some of these calls are going for so much.

I haven't spent more than $100 on booze in the last YEAR..... Thanks for the fatherly advice though.

I'm just not a sentimental person, no need spending $1000 on a call when a cheaper one does the same thing.

I saw that today. If it goes for north of $400, it may be time to cash a few in. I swear the returns on some of these calls are better than anything the stock market is offering now. Ebay's cut on a $400 call is $36 bucks or so.
