A Westie original. Man you did an amazing job, easily one of my favorite calls now. And she blows great!

Thanks again man, this is awesome! And as soon as the weights come in your kits will be off to ya!

Don't short sell yourself it's a great call. I think the price range you mentioned to me is a good price.

It works that's for sure. I take my dog to train near a small marsh just outside the city limits and when he's tired of training we usually post up on the bank and watch the ducks/ practice calling. I took the Westie out for a test run and called in a small group of green heads. I know they're easier to call in this time of year but you can't argue with results.

It is the most desired 'tone wood' in the world.

It is the only wooden token still used as legal US tender in the USA

I have one growing in my dad's yard. I'll make coins before I make calls.

but how big of a block do you need?

1.5 x 1.5 x about 4. I'm not familiar with the drying out process and all that either. But I'd be willing to give it a shot for sure.

All woods can be kiln dried. Cut a piece 4 times bigger than you need and take it to a mill to be dried. Don't have it turned until it is around 10-15% moisture content

Tlegere?
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.
