All you need is a normal bit and 6' of round stock in a small diameter. Weld em together and drill from both ends.

Fuck no. I'm gonna use a speed wood bit and get a whole bunch of 6" bit extenders. Drill from one end to ensure a semi strait hole.

Measure, find the center and you got a straight hole. I'm not all that big on drilling straight holes anymore but can ream out a slanted one!

Oh yea! Someone always has to be onboard though, to stand watch. I did more of it when I was single, port cities are infamous for partying and pussy. Since I got married, I do more daytime port rounds and let the other guys enjoy the nightlife.

It starts to suck but then you see the checks go in the bank and it makes easier, then it really starts to suck and next thing you know you 90 days off.

This might take a minute but I'll try and explain.

I watched duck dynasty where they made a 4' duck call that you had to use a leaf blower to blow. Said, "I can do better" and not need to spend all the money and time they did. Watch the show...they had to go cut a log and have it turned...etc. What a waste. Kinda pissed me off.

So I bought a piece of PVC pipe and stuck the insert from White Lightning in there and OMG...it fit perfectly.
Got all excited and called the WCIA News and announced I was attempting to make a world-record. The same week the University of Illinois set some kind of record. Forget the details but my timing was really good!

The Guiness Book of World Records is owned by a beer company and is kind of a 'racket'.
They wanted 800 euros to document my attempt. THAT really pissed me off.

The next duck season I went to Bayou Bottoms to see the guys. Try to mend the bridges etc.
They saw me coming and paraded out a TWENTY-FOOT duck call.
Apparently that video has gotten around.

How you drill a 12' hole. You need a really big lathe and a boring tool. Weld a 12' rod onto the tool and...Rig a guide for it. Whallah!
You need a 14' long lathe now.

It's one of them custom projects where you have to build a custom tool (or tools) that you use once and then turn into something else.

Next time any of you guys get on TV blowing a duck call and wearing chest waders, let me know.

Didn't duck commander make a 4' duck call with every part being proportional? Meaning it wasn't a standard insert with a 11.9 piece of pvc attached to it.

Yes, and you have to use a leaf blower to make it work.
