Newest call addition

The Wingert is woodworking art, but to my ear, it's tone is just a whistle. I've a JR Flynn Calcutta cane whistle that's de rigueur among the elite of New Orleans' waterfowling society (and wasted on the great majority of them) that's spot the heck on greenwing drakes and sprig in tone, but that shares the Wingert's ergonomic shortcomings. IE: you have to hold it, and can't just stick it in the corner of your mouth, like a pipe, and whistle away for long periods, advertising in the dim light of early shooting time or dense fog, while carrying on a conversation, which is my primary reason for carrying such, non tree duck, whistles.

Of the (4?) such simple whistles I've tried, I favor the Haydel for both its light weight and volume. That later might be illusion with lack of a megaphone simply allowing more sound to reach my own ears, but I can live with that.
