Its just a fucked up cobra braid. Alternate the cord you lay on top instead on keeping the same on top and same on bottom.

Sawtooth i think. First time I've ever done it. Took 3 hours but that included me getting pissed off and leaving it a few times. It also took a ton of cord. I really like how it feels though.

I have one like that. I think it's an Avery that you can add drops to. It's pretty comfortable, and would look really good with a cobra braid over the top of it.

I thought about that but IMO that braid feels much better than a cobra. I am also considering a king cobra on the green one but don't know if that will be too much on it.

Yes, I'd say it almost doubles the width of it. Bit it makes it stiffer and has a longer break in time.

I have a king on the one I started. Didn't know that's what our was called. Out it's thicket and stiffer for sure.

I had some of my drops weaved into the king portion...

Its definitely looks slick if you weave them in like that. That's what Dustin does with his and it was the first one I had ever seen like that. I think I'm gonna go ahead and add the king to mine just for kicks.

I'm guessing my lanyard has almost 60' of cord in it.

I think there is 90' in the black one and 65' in the green one. Not totally sure but I think I buy 100' bundles of cord.

I like that black lanyard, just not a fan of that big cobra egg though.

Me either. I think I'm going to take it back apart and try it again. There's not a good way to braid both sides together with that style braid.

Nice, the extra braid for the neck will make it more comfortable. But the cobra itself for the entire lanyard will make it stiff. Next one try making the twist start where the cobra neck band would end and have the cobra turn to flat instead if the way it is and it'll be even more comfortable.

I think it does too. Now I will know what to do to start with on the next one. I think I am going to do two colors on the next one. I really need to get some different colors other than green and black.

I like having the leather neck strap think its more comfortable. This was the first lanyard I tied. The bright colored one my wife just tied for her we will see if it leaves the house this season.
