I am planning on buying a new teal call and was leaning towards the DC teal call, but then I found the Haydel teal call for $10 cheaper. Just curious what everyone's thoughts were. Does anyone use either of these?

I've had two DC teal calls (so many spoke well of them that I thought my first must have been a lemon) and still have what I believe a final prototype Haydel "Big Blue" teal call that is the best over-the-counter teal call I've tried. Though I would run it somewhat differently than Rod does in their promotional video for it:
Never was a fan of their original little squeaker.
But, fwiw, it's not too difficult to the reed of at least some mallard calls to produce a spot on teal.

A mallard call will work, but if you just want a teal call I'd go with the Haydel's big blue. Much more volume than the whisper quite dc teal call.
