New Yentzen

Postby The Duck Hammer » Tue Jan 14, 2014 3:47 pm

The new Yentzen came out today. Looks the same as the old from what I can tell except it is acrylic and screws together. The price for them seems crazy but maybe some of the diehard fans with come out of the woodwork for it.

Not buying one. Don't like double reeds. If I was going to drop the money they want I would get a KM Custom Cut or a Fancy RM.

I have an old yentzen thats always either on my lanyard or in my bag. Its worked really well in small timber holes and for close up work. Dont really have a need for the acrylic version but good to see them at least coming up with something to add to their line up.

And to address the number thing, its not a limited run. The new model is called the Yentzen ONE.

Should be said that the Yentzen is the first of a kind. They patented the double reed call many yrs ago.

They created the triple reed too if Im not mistaken. You could get a Yentzen in either a double or a triple.
