The Vox sounds pretty good, but I have to say I was not a fan of the second except for the feeding call.

 IMO to deep, I can't remember ever hearing a duck sound like that on the marsh.

They sound better than most the jack wagons I hear in the swamps

Hudson, do you hum into your calls? If you don't already do it...try.
I like the way both calls sound especially the second one.

I believe I could get ducks to land with either one but the Black River will work better imo.
Timber mallards eat that stuff up.

I know I've said this before and I'll keep saying it til I die because it's TRUE!

A really good duck call sounds like shit when you're standing right next to someone blowing it.
Move about 50 yards away and listen. Why?
You call ducks from great distance, not from two feet away inside a blind.

How I listen to myself blow a call to see if it sounds good to me is to head for the woods and stand by the edge and listen to the echos.

Hey I said I'd try it but I like the way I call now so I doubt I change it just to get the bark.really not worried about that just seems some people are hung up on that bullshit about if it's not barking then your not blowing it right.they can blow that bark out there ass hahaha.i like cutdowns for the loud raspy deep rattle mallard hen that they make and it's not something people blow down here and it's different and in my experience it works like a charm.and they are killer on mottle ducks and greys as well.

All you gotta do to get bark is speed up your air presentation a lot at the beginning of each note.

Sounds good Hudson. Bryce's call sounds sweet.
