Straight Barrel or Rival?

Straight barrel open water. I need to get another rival, it was one of the few calls I've regretted letting go of.

Had a Straight Barrel I thought a nifty piece of work, but its tone changed with toneboard orientation, which drove me buggy.

The call sounded enough different held with the toneboard horizontal than with it vertical that it could surprise me if I didn't look to see how it was oriented before running it.

It's a Drake Brake, reminds me somewhat of a gold digger. A little more raspy but not quite as smooth in speed and transitions. I will say I was very very surprised with it. Bad ass call with lots of volume.

How's the Stinson?

I was surprised, I was figuring it to be almost identical to Gaston and Taylormade but it's far raspier. Hands down the raspiest j-frame I've ever owned. Really reminds me of a cutdown as far as sound, rasp and volume just a little easier to blow than one.
