Goose call tuning

Trying to tune this call but not even sure which side of the reed to use and what the difference is.

I would be interested on knowing as well. I've always just used them as I bought them because I didn't want to screw it up.

I picked this up with a duck call I traded a couple years ago and have screwed it up many times since. I have it sounding better now but still seems to sound a little high pitched. It's a ducklander lowlife

Think I finally got this thing tuned. Used the wider end and seems to have fallen in the right spot.

Use what ever end just covers the channel. Sm end I believe.After they tune it they draw the line.

take the reed in your index finger and thumb...and bend it...the side where middle goes down or the ends stay up...is the way you want to put it in your call. The reed just barely goes down into the tone channel....hopefully this helps.
