Sounds like what you're looking for is what you already have in the mvp. For a custom job I'd be calling Ron at RM for one of his gold diggers. He not only puts out top notch work but also a great call. Doesn't belt out like the mvp but it does just about everything else. I'd still own mine if I felt it gave me an edge with my mvp. You will be waiting a bit for one there are a lot of people after his calls but you can also sell it in no time at all if you don't like it.

Stump at RM is the best there is. Gold Digger is plenty loud but won't match the MVP.

RM has spit channels in the tone board to eliminate sticking.

The gold digger is like a badass non sticking daisy cutter. I couldn't get Rebs or Flights to stick when I played with them.

Contact Matt Miller with Little Wing Duck Calls, the Colossus is what you are looking for. Each call is made after you order, and if it's not exactly what you want, he will tune it to your needs. $75-$95 depending on finish, no better price for a custom call.

I want thinner to get faster calling .I have tried different reeds .I just can't get the speed i want out of any call on the market .shaved reed would be my guess because it works for most goose calls .

Today's standard duck reeds are already so thin, that I'd think shaving would result in appreciably greater likelihood of air-locking. But you have my curiosity piqued about what kind of additional speed you're looking for?

What exactly do you want to be faster? I find if my air is right I can get faster than I'd need to fool a duck.

I can get it fast also .but when you go supersonic the reed blows out .

I hunt a few spots where the Suzie's call so fast and they beat me to the punch because I can't get that fast without blowing out my reeds . I even had 5 guys call at one time . had some of Fred's Z unit and pro staff come over and try . Had a junior duck calling champion try .
there got to be a call that I can get faster on ..

Post a video of you making it blow out. Then we can see and hear it and also we can have an understanding of how fast you wanna be

A hail that is fast real fast . When duck season comes in I will video it .

It started years ago . after a few hunts in the spots, the hens would land down the way . and I would be able to peel some ducks off but then the hens started calling faster so I would go faster so when you get 9 or 10 hens out there . it's just a blur. the faster I go the faster they would go .

So hence I need a real fast duck call .

Sounds like you're talking about air locking, which a thinner or shaved reed should make even easier to do.

Might help. But if I understand correctly, he's wanting to do more greetings (in the same amount of time) than a group of hens all popping off together, which ain't gonna happen without outnumbering the hens with callers.

I believe that as well Rick. I am just confused on why he wants to do that so I hoped a video of him calling like that would help understand the issue for the want.

I can't call that fast without blowing out my calls . I have tried many different calls . That's why I was looking for a custom call .someone I can work with to get what i want out of the call . Someone that understands calls better them I Do . I am sure it will need modification to get what i want .

Can either of you guys make it sound like a whole bunch of hens popping off at once? That's something I'd really like to hear.
