cold sticky calls

I hardly ever stick a call until it is below freezing.
Got more and more into my duck calls. Got into tuning them too.
One day I decided to freeze all my calls in the freezer to see which ones would lock up or not.

One call would not lock up, even at 10 below zero. Not too many 10 below duck hunts but I was testing anyway.
The one that won't lock is made of wood. Hedge. The same exact call in acrylic locked right up with a little spit and wet air.

Put one of each on my lanyard so I can get loud if I want to but in general that hedge call is the one I'm grabbing first.
