Nothing nice to say about anything.
Stump works hard on them calls.
It's not easy and you can't even find the burl ones and go "golly"? Plus he sponsors the refuge.
Your hatred is grossly misplaced.
You'll buy a goose call just to look at so why not toss a few coins his way and ask for something unique?
I bet he'd surprise you.
I don't know stump but he don't deserve you talking shit about something you really don't know shit about....crafting a good duck call.
How do you know that he doesn't stabilize the wood in his calls and do you even know what that means?

You're worried excessively about hedge splitting.
You must spit up your calls good.

LMAO, yup cnc is hard work  . A fuge sponser? another reason not to buy. He doesn't stabilize calls. His motto is buy low, sell high, that says enough...he buys cheap components and charges premium prices! His calls are not in my "interest range", they all look like crap
Thanks for showing you know nothing about why hedge splits! :D

When you source hedge you need to be real careful.
You dont want it waxed.
Have it kiln dried before you turn it or yeah it'll split.
If you're getting hedge that splits someone cut corners.
It's hard on the lathe tools too.

Just pick a wood.
Please...select your wood.
The guys are asking in private so we can send you a dildo in your favorite select wood.
We have the address already.
Cmon..pick your wood.

Now suppose we tried to compare any model of duck call say an RNT short barrel.
Someone has to buy 6 calls in 6 different woods.
Next you need to tune them identically which I doubt is possible to do for a group and have them agree.
Then you need an "autoblower" so they all get blown identically or at least get the group to agree it can.
Finally you vote.
The topic is very subjective and each of us has to pick a flavor or two and try.
I tried coco and hedge and like hedge.
Just taking another guys preference and going with it or having a guy poo-poo a wood species is not too bright.
You have to go run some calls.
Go to Mack's and maybe they'll let you.
They used to before 2019.
Ever do it?

Big glass case of calls. Set on a stool and play.
Huge store it's the place to try out calls.
RNT is next door so you can go get one customized
