Fast Danish Load

These loads were developed by the Danes.
3" Cheddite Hull
Cheddite Primer
47.5 grs STEEL powder
VP65 shotcup
1/8" filler
1 oz of steel shot
1854 fps. probably over 1900 fps in my 935.
10,530 psi
Heres another that I shoot
2 3/4 Cheddite Hull
Cheddite Primer
38 grs STEEL powder
VP60 shotcup
1 oz of steel shot, I like 3's in this load
1614 fps
9993 psi, this is a very nice load.
Here's a very fast one
2 3/4" Cheddite Hull
CCI 209M primer
48 grs STEEL
LBC shotcup cut to 37mm
card under shot
2034 fps
140008 psi , shoot in a 3 1/2" gun.
I have never shot the last load and probably will never shoot it. Ned S

No, they do not. I haven't shot the 2034 fps one, it probably does. Ned S

Rolled crimps or folded Ned? Seems awful hot for a folded crimp?!?

Folded crimps. I find it unecessary to do rolled crimps. Ned S

That 3" load kicks like an angry mule. Have tried it several times. Didn't pattern worth a hoot for me, either.

Shot the 2 3/4" load with VP60 this morning. Loaded with #3s, was very impressed.
